I own a print advertising and website design company in my town and find that I do not have time to do everything myself, I need someone reliable to work with on a job-to-job basis.
I need someone who is familiar with all the different things that can go into or be done with websites - scripts, Java, Flash, php, all that good stuff.
I might need Flash items created or modified from time to time and there are likely to be several items such as forms, online calendars, hit counters, etc. that you will have to be familiar with.
Some clients also request to be able to make their own changes and yet few are website literate. Perhaps you know of the easiest way to make this possible.
This is basically how it could work.....
1) Client places order with me.
2) I find out all info & specifics regarding what they want.
3) I draw out a site map for page placement, etc.
4) You & I discuss cost so I can give a quote.
5) I collect graphics and other needed site pieces.
6) I create an actual concept design of how each page should look to a viewer.
7) You will create the HTML, linking, debugging, etc. Once finished I pay you and you pass on the website files to me and I will do the uploading.
I don't even advertise that I do web design and still manage to have several orders at the moment, I have an idea that once I actually advertise (easy since i own an advertising magazine!) this could get really big, so I hope to find the right individual.
