Pay me 2 day project
//Objective//
Pm2d will consist of two types of users; employers and employees/job seekers. However this isn't any other kind of job site. Pm2d will be something different that allows small communities/areas to post small temporary one day jobs or chores. For example, I being a resident of Kent will post that i need someone to wash my car. My offering is $15 to the person who does it. Joe bob takes the offer to make quick cash and washes the car in 45 minutes. The main objective for the website is to provide quick cash for those who need it and to provide quick solutions for the chores that need to be completed.
//Specifications//
The site needs to have a simple, easy to navigate layout with sections for the logo, navigation (cities/states), front page content, and a section that allows users to log in. The front page content will include new posts have been added recently. Users will be able to access posts however they cannot see contact information of the poster. Color theme of the website will be a cream light yellow color and others will be light shades of green and some blue.
When a user logs in, they will see new posts in the area they belong in. For example, if I'm a user from New York, I expect to see jobs in the area I live in on my page, which in this case is New York.
A feedback system of some sort must be implemented in the website.
When a user decides to take a job offer, user can place a bid for the job. If accepted, both the user and the employer will be taken to a contract page where both will sign electronically agreeing to the job and payment amount.
When posting a job, formatting of the post can be changed however it will be strict. No font changes, no color changes and you can pick a size based on the pre-determined sizes from a drop down list.
Advertisement space should be site wide. Ads will consist of banners and textual ads. Banners will be at the top and on sides while textual will be between posts.
A members account should include:
A personal feedback page
Personal jobs available (jobs that are posted and are active by this particular user)
A personal page for the users eyes only, kind of like a 'my' page
Website can be created in any language however it needs to be search engine friendly (SEO required).
A mobile version of the website may be included in the project later if the work is well done.
