I'm looking for a professional designer or firm with experience in managing user generated content (no pics or video, just text).
The website layout and images would all be provided by an already contracted graphic designer.
The pages are fairly straighforward with a standardized header and footer. There would only be roughly 10 PHP pages created for the middle frame however they would need to pull from and add data to a large database. There would be some minor mathematical manipulation of some data. The data will need to be displayed in visually appealing ways. A search box that can reference the database will be needed on one page. Users will also be able to register and login in order to post. I will need assistance in setting up back-end database as well.
I think PHP makes the most sense for this but am open to other platforms.
I would prefer a freelancer or firm local to the DC area however this is not a requirement.
Please be ready to give references as well as examples of similar past work.

I've used the header/footer system like a bazilion times in the past, what you need done is pretty simple especially if you already have a layout. I'm fantastic with backend, but my problem was that I would always need to get somebody else to do the graphics and stuff - looks like you've got that covered! Along with that, presenting data in a way that is pleasing to the eye is another thing that I'm fantastic at.
I think I could do what you need done in a reasonable amount of time and in a way that you would be happy with. Plus, you would be paying for me to get pizza. I like pizza. |  manjari |
