| Description: |
I design grid puzzles (aka Griddlers, pixel puzzles, nonograms, Japanese crosswords, etc.). A grid puzzle is a cross between a crossword puzzle and sudoku where you add and subtract numbered clues to fill in a color or colors on a 2D grid. When finished, you have a recognizable image. Grid puzzles can be in B&W or in color. Most of my puzzles are multi-grids, meaning many completed puzzles are combined to produce one completed image. A multi-grid can be as few as four or over one hundred spearate puzzles.
You can play grid puzzles on websites like www.griddlers.net and make your own puzzles on their website to be played on that website. All of this, of course, is for free although they do charge an annual fee nowadays to play on their website.
I have purchased a program that allows me to make and play my own puzzles which I would like to publish conventilonally (through books) or on disc in different venues from the above-mentioned website. B&W puzzles are better suited for hardcopy while color puzzles are better played on a computer. However, if I market my puzzles on disc, I would need my own program to include with it because the one I use now is proprietary. The program I need would not necesarily have to be a program that can make and play puzzles, just play.
I am not a programmer so I don't know what this all entails. I would like to discuss the ways of creating a program that can play my puzzles. I have a very limited budget, but perhaps we can come to a workable agreement. Open minded for discussion. I have no projected time frame to complete this.
I can send some samples once we establish contact. The files are too big to be included here.
Many thanks in advance for your consideration.
