Our company would like an ftp application with a web interface that users can visit, create their own user name and password, and upload files to our server.
We need the following functionality in the FTP Application:
1) Ability for users to come to a single website and create their own user name and password. (And change or retrieve forgotten passwords in the future.)
2) Built-in ability for an email to be sent to a member of our staff when an upload is complete.
3) Uploads to be secured on our server with no access from other FTP users.
4) Ability for our internal users to access the uploaded files from within our network.
We would like for this web interface to be the only way for users to connect to our FTP, meaning they could not use an FTP client to connect to this site.

I have read your specs of creating web based FTP application and i am sure that i can provide you all of these features:
1) Ability for the users to create FTP accounts on your website.
2) Secure login area where they can upload files.
3) Built-in ability for an email to be sent to a member of our staff when an upload is complete.
4) Forgot password facility for users to reset their password and get it on the email address they provided in registration form.
5) Users can only upload from web based interface and they wont be able to use desktop based client
Question:
Can you explain this point?
Ability for our internal users to access the uploaded files from within our network.
