The Project is to Design Graphics for a Paper Party Goods line.
Products for the Design are:
1. 9” Plate - Finished Graphic Size: {9.5” Rd. Diameter}
2. Dinner Napkin – 6.5” x 6.5” Folded (13” x 13” unfolded)
- Finished Graphic Size: {13.5” x 13.5” Square}
(keep in mind how it will show folded, 1/4th of the design)
General Graphic Direction:
Susan G. Komen’s corporate colors are:
- PMS 227 and
- PMS 232
Incorporate these (or other pink(s)) into the designs, but you are not limited
to just these colors.
Incorporate an abstract and/or unique interpretation, shape, fill, etc. and very subtle use of the Breast Cancer Ribbon emblem. The ribbon should not be overt, it should be a very, very discreet, minimal element.
- Not formal, but not too whimsical.
- Needs to be appealing to Women as well as Girls
- Must be Great for a garden tea party, picnic, fundraiser dinner and a little girl’s birthday. Versatile.
- You can use geometric patterns, florals, nature, abstract images, hand- paint/brush etc. – wide open to your imagination.
- Create a cool original or organic Texture that gives it depth and uniqueness.
(no plain, solid color backgrounds)
This is the general guide; take it where you want to and you can offer different concepts or multiple variations on 1 concept.

Comment: This seems like a lovely job, while I haven't done anything quite like this before, it sounds very interesting to me. I work very quickly and am happy to send a few ideas I've had for it before you choose. I only take payment when you're happy with the design, even if that means me re-doing it 10 times, which thankfully has never happened!
