Looking to build a website that will track Door to Door fundraising for public safety organizations such as fire and rescue departments. We would like to have a GPS enable device that can track each fundraiser to see what houses they approached, what time they were there, if the family was home, how much the family donated if any. We then would like to have the organization that hired us be able to look at the project in real time via the website. We want to have the ability for the organization to put notes on any home that was visited, in case there was any complaints or to give a follow up call and put there notes there so when we go back in 6 months or a year we will have a heads up. We would like the fundraisers to have the ability to see if there are any notes before they knock on a home.

To give a better understanding of what we are looking for:
1. We will approach a volunteer fire or/and rescue station to offer door to door fundraising.
2. We will then login to our website as the admin and create a "project" this project is tied to a username and password that will be given to the station. They will only be able to view just their project and no one elses.
3. Fundraisers and managers will then be assigned to the project by the admin and given a hand held GPS device. We want one that has a very low margin of error, a few feet. Some GPS enabled phones can be off by a few hundred feet.
4. The fundraisers will then go out and start knocking on peoples doors. When they knock we want them to hit a log button that will log the GPS coordinates then ask them a series of questions like was the family home, did they donate, how much did they donate. That information will either be uploaded real time or stored on the device and uploaded that night.

5. The station can then login and see just the homes or coordinates that were logged, within their service area and be able to click on them to add any comments. Sometimes they will receive complaints. When we go there next year we want the fundraisers to see if there are any complaints filed the last time we where there. We want this in something like google maps with fly over windows.
6. We want the admin to be able to see all projects, be able to tally up all donations within a project, and have other custom reports, who collected what donations, ect... and then end a project to have it archived. If we go back there the next year we want that station to still be able to access the archive with the same username and password.
Quality is more important that time. We do not need it right away. What we have is working, but we are looking to improve what we currently have.

I used google maps to track Missions, Temples etc in a country, city etc in the following website:
www.cumorah.com
on the website select United States for example from country dropdown and you will see stats page for that country including map to track missions, temples etc in that country.
You can also view large map of that using large map link that will appear just under the map.
So, you can see i am very much familiar with GPS integration.
