Hello to anyone reading this. This project is an easy way to make some quick cash. I need help with a matlab program I am trying to write for my senior design project. With out going into the details of my project, the section of coding I need help with is getting matlab to communicate properly with a basic stamp controller. I have the basic stamp portion of the project complete. I know the basic stamp code works properly because I've tested it with the built-in debugger. All the matlab code needs to do is first a simple software hand shaking. Then send a number between 0 and 7 to the basic stamp and then read the number the basic stamp sends back to the pc and that is looped for a present number of times.
Note as for the software handshaking all that involves is waiting for the basic stamp to send the number 1 to the pc and then sending 0 back to the stamp.
