A technical writer competent in writing training content for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 technologies. Although the writer need not have direct experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, he/she will need experience/competency in other versions. The "project" will be broken down on a topic by topic basis and each topic will be roughly 2000-3000 words in size. This may also include responsibility for writing assessments for the topics as well. Each topic will also require screen grabs to accompany the content and remote connectivity to Microsoft SQL Server 2008 will be provided and facilitated through VMWare and remote desktop technologies. Any other applications required will be provided, however the successful bidder must provide the finished work in Microsoft Word format. Project collaboration will be facilitated through a combination of Sharepoint, discussion groups, conference calls and email.
Our 3 primary criteria for content quality are -
The topic content:
1. is technically correct
2. is copyright free (can be clearly held as our intellectual property)
3. follows the provided outline
Attached is a draft example of a topic that is considered "pre-review" and the majority of screen grabs are removed.
Please bid on this project on a per topic basis. It's estimated we'll have roughly 70+ topics to create and assume assessments are NOT part of the bid. The successful bidder will be responsible for the majority of topics in a given Microsoft SQL Server 2008 subject area. Please contact with follow-on questions.
