| Description: |
Need renovation, repair, updating, and rebuilding of Educating.net, the world’s premier vertical portal for educational services on the internet. We need bids on performing the following tasks:
1) Currently, the site is written in .asp. Needs to be upgraded to asp.net.
2) Site has numerous broken links that need to be repaired or deleted.
3) We need the programmer to provide a template so that our team can add new sites, move current sites, and delete outdated sites from our search engine. Currently, FrontPage extensions are the means of updating the site. Yet, Microsoft is no longer supporting FrontPage extensions. Do we need to convert to some other software so that our team can use our Mac computers (which do not have FrontPage extension software) to update the site?
4) Some files on our site seem corrupted, and need to be repaired or deleted.
5) Need to backup files now and on a regular basis to our office Mac computers. Some of the files in the “file manager” are corrupted and cannot be downloaded through Fetch FTP.
6) Need to have our site only accessible through user ID and password. Users must create profile and register. We need to keep these users in a database.
7) Want the opportunity to have ecommerce on the site. Take credit cards. Sell merchandise or charge monthly subscription fee.
Any other duties as assessed by the software engineer who reviews our Educating.net.
