It should be made in VB ASP.NET only
It's a kind of shopping cart very simple, nothing of the complexitty of regular shopping carts on the web.
Products to sell: images/files to download.
Customers types: 2.
One type are schools wich can download the image/files for free after register. We will check MANUALLY by calling by phone to check them (digital divide issues).
Second type are companies, where the only payment method will be transfer. We MANUALLY check the bank deposit.
After verified schooll identity or payment made, the employee log to the site and select customer/schooll and product ordered, so it can send a mail with a link where to download the product/s, with a expire time of about 24hs.
Security:
- The backend must have an administration area for manage users and products.
- A logger, where all transactions are detailed, specially where authorized users modified prices, and should be able to filter by kind of transaction
- Permission: must have an area where the administrator can select which user has access to a place and where cannot. (Database managed, for example the user Peter can add products but cannot modify prices)
- Languages: English / Spanish (I´m not asking you to know spanish, just a place to put both texts, but only ONE database, not 2 copies of the system)
- Security 1: encript password of user/customers using any simple class algorithm you may want
- Security 2: put a field horizontal and one vertical line in the database to count the characters. Every time the application loads check it was not changed from outside.
- Use an MVC model (model-view-control) design pattern, so the User Interface has almost nothing of code and easy for future changes
- Source code is REQUIRED
- Database we use MS-SQL
- If everything is in classes better
- Documentation: UML attached is prefered
The simpler the code, the better. Ask anything you may need to know.
