| How does it work and how much is it? |
Top... |
Once a project is awarded to a freelancer, the freelancer must pay 5% of his winning bid in order to accept the project, receive the client's contact information and begin working on the project.
Note that the Project Acceptance Fee must be paid BEFORE the project can be accepted. No exceptions.
Until a project is accepted and the commission fee is paid, the project will remain "frozen".
The client must wait for the freelancer to either accept or decline the project. The client may choose to pay the Project Acceptance Fee on behalf of the freelancer, in which case work can begin immediately (both the client and freelancer will receive each other's contact information once this is done). No further action is needed on the freelancer's part.
Freelancers must accept or decline a project after it has been awarded to them within a reasonable amount of time. If the freelancer chooses to accept the project, he will be required to pay the Project Acceptance Fee. If the Freelancer chooses to decline the project, he must state a valid reason for declining the project after he had placed a bid on it.
Failure to accept or decline a project in a timely fashion may result in your account being suspended.
Declining several projects after they have been awarded to you for no valid reason may also result in your account being suspended.
If the Project Acceptance fee is paid by the client on your behalf, no further action is needed on the freelancer's part.
After the Project Acceptance fee is paid, both freelancer and client will receive each other's contact information by email. That information will also be available in the Account page. Work can begin immediately.

| As a freelancer, what if I pay the Project Acceptance Fee and the client does not respond to my emails or does not work with me? |

If after paying the Project Acceptance Fee, and the client does not respond to your emails or does not wish to work with you, you may request to have the Project Acceptance Fee credited back to your account.
You must leave negative feedback for the client BEFORE contacting us to ask for a credit. Please allow enough time for the client to respond BEFORE requesting a credit. |
