As a client, you can communicate with the freelancers who bid on your project via your Project Message Board (PMB). To access your Project Message Board, please go to your project page. There is a link to your Project Message Board right after the project description.

You may choose to make a public posting on the Project Message Board to that will be viewable to all freelancers, or send a Private Message to a specific freelancer, which will be viewable by that specific freelancer ONLY.

Please note that you are NOT allowed to post your private contact information. After you have awarded the project and the project has been accepted by the freelancer (commission fee has been paid by the freelancer or you on his behalf), you will receive the freelancer's contact information by email. Likewise, he will receive your contact information by email. That information is also available in your Account page.

You can only contact the freelancers who have posted a bid on your project.

You may invite any freelancer to bid on your project by visiting the freelancer profile and clicking on the "Invite" link. You can view the list of freelancers at the Freelancer Directory.

As a Freelancer, you can communicate with a client (job poster) via the Project Message Board (PMB). To acces the Project Message Board for a particular project, please go to that project page. There is a link to your Project Message Board right after the project description.

In order to be able to post on the Project Message Board, you must place a bid for the project FIRST. Please note that you can always change your bid later.

Only freelancers who have successfully completed at least 3 projects and received 3 reviews are allowed to send Private Messages. Until you have received at least 3 reviews, you can only post public messages that will be viewable to the client and also to other freelancers.

Please note that you are NOT allowed to post your private contact information on the Project Message Board and in bids. This includes, but not limited to, your email address, your phone number, your personal or business website, any web page where your contact information is shown, and your physical address. Violating these rules will result in a permanent suspension.

If you are awarded a project, you must pay the commission fee (which is 5% of your winning bid) to receive the client's contact information and begin working on the project. You may ask the client to pay the commission fee on your behalf. Once the commission fee has been paid by either you or the client, you will receive the client's contact information by email. Likewise, he will receive your contact information by email. That information is also available in your Account page.
